As a member of one of three CUPE bargaining units at Hamilton Health Sciences, your workplace rights are protected by your Collective Agreement, a legally-binding document which is signed by both management and union. Our latest Collective Agreements (or Contracts) expired at the end of September. Negotiations are getting underway towards reaching new Agreements. Members will be kept informed through this web site and can also sign up for email alerts on the right side of this page.

Our Health and Safety section will expand over time but for now includes a circular from CUPE on your right to refuse unsafe work. The Human Rights section will likewise grow over time.

Awards and Settlements provides news of arbitration awards and copies of other orders and settlements of interest to our members.
